This listing is for Fantasy Flight's DESCENT, 2nd Edition *COMPLETE* Collection! What do I mean by complete? I mean, it includes every published boxed expansion (x7, not including the Sea of Blood expansion for 1st Edition, but I'm throwing it in for kicks), every expansion pack (x4), the hardcover Heirs of Blood campaign, every Hero and Monster Collection (x9), and every Lieutenant Pack (x20). FOR A FULL LIST, PLEASE SEE BELOW. The only item this collection does NOT include is the Fall 2014 Game Night Kit (though the expansion incl. in that kit, "Nature's Ire," was later published and is included here).
While I had great dreams & ambitions for tabling this game, it just never happened. The game, and its expansions, are UNPLAYED- some are even new in the shrink, unpunched, unopened. And what was opened was meticulously cared for- the cards are sleeved, the cardboard tokens punched and bagged, and many of the minis were on display in their own glass cabinet for the past decade (smoke-free home). As I collected each lieutenant pack, I also sleeved those cards and even kept the inserts with the bags (see pics); some of them I could only find on the second-hand market, and you will see those do not include the original paper inserts from the packaging (there are about 4 or 5). But essentially the game has been stored in a smoke-free home, sitting on the shelf. PLEASE NOTE: some of the expansion boxes are a little worn or scuffed (Lair of the Wyrm has a crumpled edge; see pic); some were bought used, and some have moved houses with me a few times- but the components are pristine.
This is truly an heirloom collection- this edition of the game, including its many expansions- are out-of-print and not likely to be reprinted (as the new Descent is going in an entirely different direction of app-assisted play). Individually, each expansion can be hard to find these days, or comes at an insane premium. I realize this is NOT a cheap listing, but it is EVERYTHING (aside from that Game Night Kit, which goes for about $150 when found).
